Rooms and Rates
Our rooms are appointed with fresh, updated, comfortable décor, private bathrooms, and individual climate control. They hold either a king or queen bed, and we have a few that are two-room suites or adjoining rooms to accommodate a small group or family. Kress Family Suite
Nestled in the Western North Carolina Mountains. A hidden gem conveniently located just off Hwy 74 up a paved road. Enjoy the serenity of the Smokies and take in the view from a rocking chair from our front porch. Perfectly situated overlooking GSMNP, a short drive to Blue Ridge Parkway. Amazing waterfall hikes nearby for a novice or advanced hiker. Abundant trout in nearby rivers. The sweet little towns of Sylva, Dillsboro, and Bryson City, Cherokee Casino are just ten minutes away.

The Space
Our family suite is appointed with fresh, clean, updated & comfortable decor, a newly renovated kitchen, 2 living rooms for plenty of space to spread out. The suite is equipped with all cooking utensils and dishes to cook for a family. Awesome views from the huge picture windows.
Guest Access
The family suite has a private entrance. No other guests have access. The patio and firepit area are common areas and could be shared with other guests.
Other Things to Note
The family suite is a private suite connected to a 10- bedroom lodge, so there may be other guests on the property outside and in common areas such as the patio or fire pit areas.
The Buffalo/Cardinal Rooms
The Buffalo Room is a private room and bathroom within our lodge. It adjoins our Cardinal room, making it a two-bedroom suite. These rooms have an amazing view of the mountain from the bed. Each bedroom has a Queen bed and its own TV. A mini-fridge is on the Cardinal side. Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee in our Great Room each morning. Guests have access to our Great Room, Patio, and Fire Pit areas which can be shared with other guests.

The Blue Ridge Suite
You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. The Blue Ridge Suite has a private balcony and entrance or uses the main entrance to our grand patio. The suite is equipped with a full kitchen and a full-size fridge. A beautiful queen log bed and a sleeper sofa bed. Relax in front of the fire with cute little armchairs. Enjoy the view from the bed or your private balcony. Enjoy a stocked complimentary coffee bar in the Great Room.
We are conveniently located near Cherokee Casino, Bryson City, Sylva, and Dillsboro, and we are an hour from Asheville, NC. Our location is convenient for accessing Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and Nantahala Outdoor Center.
Guest Access
The Suite has a private entrance and balcony. You are also welcome to use the Great Room, Grand Patio, and Fire Pit areas which are common areas, and may encounter other guests in these areas.
The Angler Room
The Angler room has just had a makeover and is appointed with two (2) brand new Queen Beds, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and 55-inch Smart TV. Has an en suite bathroom with great water pressure.
Guest Access
Private locked entry to your room. There is a patio and fire pit area is a common space and other guests may be present in these spaces.
The Violet
You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. The Violet Room is equipped with 2 queen beds and has one of the best views in the Lodge with 3 large windows overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. This room is on our lower floor. This is a private room within our Lodge. Guests do have access to our Great Room where there is a pool table and use of our Grand Patio where you can enjoy your coffee from our complimentary coffee bar. The Great Room and Patio are common spaces.
The space
Spacious Guestroom facing the mountain for an amazing view. First floor. Pet friendly. Two queen beds with private bathroom (standard hotel setup)
Guest access
There is a large Great Room with pool table, fireplace and coffee station, Grand Patio and a firepit area that are all common spaces. Other guests could be encountered at these spaces. The Guestroom is completely private and the properties outside spaces leave plenty of room for solitude here on the mountain.
Other things to note
There is usually a staff member on site however if you are arriving late or prefer self checkin you are free to make yourself at home . Self checkin instructions are given.
Scarlett Suite
Large , charming suite with a beautiful, comfortable king sized bed with a fantastic view right from the bed. Suite is equipped with a gas fireplace, TV, mini fridge, microwave and Keurig in the room. Suite also has a queen sized sofa bed.
The space
Large suite within a 15 room boutique hotel/lodge. Tucked away at the top of the mountain. We are easily accessible up a paved road. Beautiful views.
Guest access
Private bedroom and bathroom within a 15 room boutique hotel/lodge. There is a Grand Patio, Great Room and Fire Pit areas where you may encounter other guests.
